motherboard/processor problem, plz help?

i've needed some help with compatibility problems for quite a while now and no one could seem to help me and this is my last resort. i've been hearing that the motherboard is old and no one was able to help me with a processor upgrade. and even if they tried to help, i would get the most complicated response in the world. all i need to know, is what is the best processor i can upgrade my computer to. i attached some pictures with the information about my computer's processor and motherboard. i'd appreciate it a ton if somebody could help me out.

That is old technology (90nm) and it does not seem to be worth upgrading IMO. Alot more power out of newer tech....
 
just to bee 100% sure, does P4 stand for Pentium 4? because i don't want to have to go buy something just to realize it doesn't work and probably get no refund. thanks
 
Yes, it stands for pentium 4 but those processors aren't sold anymore. The only place you can possibly find them is on ebay.
