motherboard question

yes there is, you just need to make sure that you have a processor that allows this.

they're generally only used for server and workstation apllications however
 
you dont tend to be able to get them though high street retail stores but if you look in the right places online they are available.

not sure how you would go about using a multi processor system for gaming though; ive not any experience with such system (unless you count a dual pentium 1 server)
 
Well

A better option would be to get a dual core processor such as the Pentium D or the X2 series from AMD. They physically work like two speperate processors :).

newegg.com has some motherboards that support 2 processors. (imagine 2x AMD X2 4800+'s. WOW) lol

i doubt those boards support dual 939's, although a dual core opteron would be pretty tasty :D
