motherboard question

is there such a thing as a motherboard that you can install multiple processors on

yes there is, you just need to make sure that you have a processor that allows this.

they're generally only used for server and workstation apllications however

can you get them for a standard use like playing games and every day sh*t?

you dont tend to be able to get them though high street retail stores but if you look in the right places online they are available.

not sure how you would go about using a multi processor system for gaming though; ive not any experience with such system (unless you count a dual pentium 1 server)

Well

A better option would be to get a dual core processor such as the Pentium D or the X2 series from AMD. They physically work like two speperate processors .

Yeah jsut get a dual core processor server is just a head ache i looked up into it just casue i had to reseach it

i doubt those boards support dual 939's, although a dual core opteron would be pretty tasty
