Hi,

I have a self build computer and its been working perfectly for 3years until last month it started acting up like it won't have any display at all, at first i thought that was just RAM so I reseat the ram and it didn't do it, I am only using my onboard video card,so I've tried switching cables and it didn't do it, I reseated the CMOS batterry too and it didn't do it. So after a couple of reseating and and removing all 3rd patry devices (Printers/modem/router/webcam/) leaving just the keyboard and mouse and monitor it finally boot up and went on as usual. I turned it off at that night and next day when I tried using it again it did it again.

I have bare it and after days of observing it, I notice I had to let warm up and it will bootup as is. I can go on with that however its susch a pain if i had to do it evrytime I turn my computer on...

Any Ideas what's causing this and how can i resolve this???

Thanks

Francis

that's what i was going to say from similarity in a non- but still similar way to my problem, and also try to put in in hybernate to see what happens and after psu, you could just pull one from a working comp that is compatible with your parts to see, then try getting a cheap gpu, can get them for less than 20 and bump performance up a bit in video and gaming, or borrow a friend's who's is same socket.
