I have an HP Pavilion 505n desktop, and I have to replace the motherboard. I would like to get the original but the computer is old and I don't think that is possible. The board is Trigem yang an yr-3 e114139 94v-0 0309 Those are the numbers on the board. Can anyone give any suggestions. The hp product # is DC470A if that helps. Intel celeron processor 400mhz socket mpga478 chipset 845gl. I don't know if all these numbers are usefull or not.
Thanks

I don't really want a new motherboard, I just want to fix the problem.I have been using it for a long time. All of a sudden it would not turn on. I figured it was the power supply. I removed all external components and monitered the ps voltage on a spare plug. Had only the 20pin and 4pin plugs in and the voltage came on for about 2 secs and dropped off(both 12 and 5volts). I removed the 4pin from the motherboard and the voltage stayed ok. I then figured the problem was the ps. Tried another ps and got the same simptoms.I was told that the 4pin powers the processor/motherboard. That's why I suspect the MB.

well i guess you can check ebay, i don't think any retailers online or not will carry anything this old. sorry
