what kind of stuff should i look for when buying a motherboard, should i just look to see if it supports my processor and how much ram it an hold?

stuff like the SATA ports, the sound, overclocking capabilities, read a few reviews on what whatever mobo you like the look of, the mobo makes little difference to most people though
