blakey_boy9 New Member Dec 9, 2005 #3 I had 5 case fans, 2 on the front, 1 side, 1 roof, 1 rear. reduced it to the 1 on the side and one on the roof because the noise was driving me crazy

Rambo New Member Dec 9, 2005 #5 My ASUS A7N8X-X runs at 21*C. I wouldn't imagine that temp is harmful for the board... But if it goes above 50*C I would say that there is a problem.

Cromewell Administrator Staff member Dec 9, 2005 #6 It depends on where the sensor is and if it is crapping out or not. That's horribly hot but I would keep an eye on it.

gamerman4 Active Member Dec 10, 2005 #8 I think that is still a bit high considering even on hot summer days, I've never gotten my older A7N8X higher than 37C. My current board has never even seen 30C yet. Is this 42C temp that you are running, is it idle or load?

blakey_boy9 New Member Dec 10, 2005 #9 it is load temp, i bought 2 more silent case fans and now the mobo temp is 38 load temp.
blakey_boy9 New Member Dec 11, 2005 #11 idle is around 32, which is alot lower than b4 which was 37 without the fans
