Anyone know if there is a place you can go on windows xp that will allow you to update your motherboard? I have had some people tell me you can and I am just wanting to get someone else's opinion.

What do you mean a place on XP? Why would XP have anything to do with the mobo?

Do you mean a BIOS update?

If so, I would not recommend doing that within any OS.

Absolutely

:D That is what I meant......it is late in the day and I am letting my mind wander
but thanks for the reminder

you need a bios flash utility, usually this comes form the motherboard manufacturer and the bios file should come with a readme with instructions

Ugh dont use Windows to update it. Use the reference drivers from the individual chipset and device manufacturers :)
