Anyone know if there is a place you can go on windows xp that will allow you to update your motherboard? I have had some people tell me you can and I am just wanting to get someone else's opinion.

What do you mean a place on XP? Why would XP have anything to do with the mobo?

Do you mean a BIOS update?

If so, I would not recommend doing that within any OS.

You need to go to the website of the manufacturer of your mobo. Look for updates on there.

Do you update the bios just like any other driver or do you have to do something different?

you need a bios flash utility, usually this comes form the motherboard manufacturer and the bios file should come with a readme with instructions

Ugh dont use Windows to update it. Use the reference drivers from the individual chipset and device manufacturers
