hey, i have a emachines t6140 and i want to upgrade it, so i wanted to first start with a new motherboard, what kind of motherboard would be compatible to my computer? if there a motherboard with dual video that would be compatible with mine? thanks
that totally depends on the specs you are currently running. All the components you want to keep will have to be compatible with the new mobo. It's also a good idea to get one that has backwards compatible interfaces so that you can alwayz upgrade laterr
How old is your Emachine? I thought they stopped making those several years ago! You may need to evaluate what you want to do, and whether its worth it to upgrade vs just leaving htat computer intact, and buying new components to construct a new computer.
ive had the computer for about a year, but i dont think i have enough money to build a whole new computer so i just want to try to get the best out of this one
