Motorola Moto G wireless

Hi all

Just got the 8gb model and for some reason i cant get the phone to see my wireless N network on the 5ghz range?

It can see my 2.4ghz wireless g network

Any idea

I would suspect its not capable of seeing a 5.4ghz band.

I would have thought i would see the 5ghz range, everywhere on the internet says it can do wireless n

Just because it can do Wireless N doesnt mean it can do 5GHz. Does your router have a dual band feature?

Yes my router has dual band and on other devices i can see n and g

i made my router work on the 2.4Ghz wireless N frequency and it picked it up straight away but i will say its very very unstable using the N on the 2.4Ghz

as soon as i put back my router on the 5Ghz wireless N frequency it lost the signal and all it could find was the G network so i really answered my own question

The Moto G does not support 5Ghz, it only supports 802.11b/g/n.
