Mounting CD's as ISO's

I acquired an SATA HDD not too long ago and moved everything onto that drive. Everything loads a lot faster now.

This means I would like to start mounting ISO's of my game CD's and DVDs. What program should I use to go about doing this?

I had originally just used ImgBurn to create ISO's and I found a poor ISO mounter, but it didn't work - the games wouldn't execute with the ISO.

Should I use something like Alcohol120%?

I use PowerISO!! But, as far as I know dameon tools is the only good freeware one. Sent a PM to you.

Yeah there are many ISO mounting programs out there. I personally use PowerISO, MagicISO, and UltraISO.

I'll say go for Daemon Tools, you might also want to try MagicISO but, even though it does the job, it appears to be a little buggy at times... however, if the game CDs are copy protected, there's no way you could create an image out of them that would run the game, unless you crack it (which we ain't supposed to go into...)

daemon tools unquestionably, its a superb free ware program and I know countless people that swear by it, very easy to use and hot swapping is painless. Setup multiple drives if you so wish etc.
