Mounting screw size

Quick question, I hope someone can answer. What size mounting screws will I need to install optical and hard drives? Diameter, pitch, and length? I'm buying all OEM drives, so I'm assuming they will not come with such hardware.

The mounting screws (and possibly mounting rails) should've come with your case. If you lost the screws (or dont have any left) take a screw off one of your other drives and take a trip to the hardware store.

Some hardware stores may not have the exact size/thread machine screws. Don't sweat it, just get the next best fit.

If you say that the csae should include them, that's good enough for me. I just don't want all of my parts to arrive and not have any screws. I work in a tool room with a wide varity of screws. I want to make sure I have enough for 2 optical drives and 2 HD.

I know I can force one in that's close, but I'd rather get the right fit from the get-go.
