Most of the time when I turn my computer on, my Razer Diamondback mouse doesn't power on(the blue light doesnt turn on, or no movement is possible). How can I make it so that it turns on every time I turn on my comp??

Heya

It's a common problem with Razer mice. However, it's not because of the mouse but rather the motherboard manufacturers not following the USB specifications which in turn causes the mouse not to turn on. I know my motherboard has that problem.

It seems as if this problem is a common one with Razer mouse.
I've read on there website that a possible fix is to "disable the power save options on the USB Root Hub" under Device settings, and also to disable "Hibernation on the Power settings"

Maybe it needs some sort of driver.
did a driver cd come with it.

That maybe the problem. Did you try unpluging the mouse and plug it back in? Is the mouse usb cable. If so go to start > Control Panel > Add hardware. and see if they find anything. If it is one of those circle thingey that plugs in the back of the tower, try turn of the computer and the unplug it and turn off the computer andplug it back in.

wait, just encountered another problem... after installing my drivers for the mouse, the side buttons don't work(grrrrrrrrrrrrr) can someone explain why?

Ohhhhhh man,
ok is the mouse pluged straight into the usb or in a ps2 usb converter
cause with my mouse if its in a converter only the click buttons work

no... straight into USB. But I just uninstalled the driver that came with the mouse and now the side buttons are working again... so maybe that will fix your problem if you 1) plug the mouse directly into USB. and 2) uninstall the drivers that came with the mouse.
