Mouse Gives up,Have to umplug & Replug it in????

Even worse, buy a new mouse.Dell makes okay keyboards (i think) but pretty much all oem mice are bad.You can get a mouse for $5, aebeit not a good one, but prob better then yours.

I have several OEM mice (many years old) and don't have a problem with them.
How long have you been using computers to have this experience with mice?

Why dooes my mouse go off/No Light?
Probably something to do with your mouse itself. Do you have another mouse to hand which you can try? It may be a problem with a USB port on your PC, can you try plugging it into another port and see if it's still playing up?

Wouldn't agree. Depends what your definition of "bad" is. :/ In the past I have used some cheapo HP mice and they have all worked fine. I actually like the new mice HP ship with their current machines, I've used several of them when Dad has ordered new HPs in for customers. Never had a problem with OEM mice or mice from generic/cheaper brands.

I like my Dell OEM mouse just fine. Even for TF2 sniping. That's mainly because I'm too cheap to get anything else, but it works fine. :P
