mouse has problems

since i switched from win xp pro to windows 7 pro,my mouse cursor stops moving sometimes,like when i type in a box on here,i can still type but the cursor stays in one place,i click on another line and type but the cursor stays on a diffrent line,then like a minute later the cursor moves to the line im typing from.

i tryed and plugged the usb mouse into a diffrent usb port but its the same

I could be just blowing smoke, but you might want to see how much memory Windows 7 is consuming compared to Windows XP. It sounds like your system is dragging, but I could be totally wrong.

windows 7 is actually using less memory than windows xp,so i like the windows 7 better if it didnt have bugs, mouse cursor acting up and when using the quick picture view with windows the computer freezes after viewing a couple of pics.
