As above. My wireless mouse is dying a horrible death, and I'd like to get a new one.
Wireless is really nice to have though it isn't all important, and it has to be comfortable for them games.
I know 4/5ths of @#$%all about mice, so suggestions would be awesome.
It HAS to be good quality so it can stand up to daily use for a number of years.

The only ones I think are perhaps alright would be

and

though they're completely on the basis of wireless and looking alright.

The one I use: Kensington ORBIT TRACKBALL WITH SCROLL RING

They now have a wireless one, KENSINGTON ORBIT WIRELESS MOBILE TRACKBALL, but wireless mice are not good for gaming, and I don't know about this "touch scrolling". I guess I'd have to try it to be sure. But the wired one above, I swear by. I have used it for years, and I love it!

They also have Expert Mouse® and SlimBlade™, but the cost is high for those and I haven't tried them.

The best thing about having a trackball is that you never have to move it! It can alway stay in one place, and lower amount of movement for

It takes some getting used to (it's basically learning the skill of fine motor movements for precision movements with your finger), but once you get good at it, it is worlds above standard mice! I have the Kensington Orbit Trackball With Scroll Ring.

I couldn't go without a standard mouse. The features like clicking the scroll wheel to open up new tabs are so useful that I couldn't deal without them.

I should've said that wireless is preferred but not essential. I like not having any cables looking untidy on the desk.
