Mouse Keeps Freezing and Unfreezing

I posted about this yesterday in the Desktop section. It started to work fine yesterday but today it's acting up again. I've checked and I believe it might be a problem with the mouse but I'm not 100% sure. I have tried the following fixes:
  1. Updating/uninstalling then reinstalling the mouse drivers.
  2. Restarting my PC.
  3. Scanning/Removing viruses.
  4. Unplugging the mouse and plugging it back in.
  5. Using different USB ports
If it's an unfixable problem with the mouse, I already know what mouse I'm going to buy to replace it but I'd like to try and fix my current one. Any ideas on how to fix it or what might be causing it?

FYI, there was no reason to create a new thread. The only thing can do is try the mouse in another computer, or a new mouse. Really is no way to fix a mouse. It could be a usb issue with the cable or something else.
