I recently installed a game i have had for a long time, Motocross Mania. Although it has worked in the past, I am having problems. When the menu screen comes up, the mouse pointer just floats to the top left corner and resists any movement. It does this throughout the entire game. I can move the mouse but the whole time it resists. I have tried reinstalling the game, as well as trying another mouse; none of these work. The mouse works just fine for everything else. Please help me, i really want to play this game!

another thing do you have a joystick plugged in? that could cause it also. btw i have this game on playstation used to be fun but the chainsaw motors gets really repetitive
