Here`s my problem.. I have a old P3 machine and is running windows XP home on it. Its a lill slow/laggy but thats down too the hardware.. 256mb RAM, 12GB HDD and 700mhz CPU lol. Im fine with that but there is one thing about that machine that really enoys me... I have a USB mouse and used too work fine but recently its been "freezing" and now it freeze`s every 3-5 mins
Its so enoying and want too throw the whole thing out the window.
Have tried the mouse on another machine and it works fine, also tried a different mouse on the computer and it still freeze`s.

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions on how too solve this prob ?

cheers for ya time ppl

Yea, try reinstalling the software/drivers for the mouse. If it's USB it probably came with software to use special features.

From your description, it looks like the computer seems to be 'rejecting' your mouse. my advice is to uninstall the drivers/re-install them, then reboot-see what happens. sometimes, the computer responds...
