mouse problems

i have a logitech cordless optical mouse, and just recently the movement of the cursor has become very choppy. before it was always smooth and quick. i have tried changing the batteries and moving the receiver closer to the mouse, but it has no effect. i have had the mouse for probably almost a year, or more. so is my mouse just shot or is there a way to smooth out the movement?

That type of problem sounds to me like a battery problem, so that all I can suggest. make sure the new batteries you put in good, fully charged. Also, click connect on both the mouse and reciever, and make sure is firmly plugged into the usb port.

there is a little hole where the red light shines out. blow into it and that will remove any little dust specks. That is what i do when my mouse does that, and it works every time
