Mouse question

I never had a wireless mouse and would like to try one. But I don't want to use my front usb ports. If I plug the receiver of the mouse into the back of the pc will the mouse still work because there will be no line of sight.

if your unsure about it, get a bluetooth mouse, i'm not sure about infared mice though, i would think those would also work, but don't take my word for it

You'll be fine. I doubt any even somewhat new mouses use infrared receivers. I've used 3 wireless mouses and they've worked fine with the receiver WAY out of sight (behind the computer, that is).

^^ Agreed, my receiver sits on a shelf behind every bit of rubbish I stuff up there and never have a signal problem.

My reciever is behind the computer and under the desk and it works. Infared would not work as light cannot travel through solids, but bluetooth and other radio type devices would work as radio waves can travel through solids, which is why your radio works in the house as does your cell phone(usually), etc.

But yeah, you'll be fine.
