Mouse wont work

When I booted up to vista on my pc the mouse wont move. It just freezes at start up . I tried a PS/2 and that didn't work.

Did the mouse ever work before? how long did you leave the computer on for? Sometimes it takes a few mins for a new mouse to work on a PC. Did you take a look in the BIOS to see if there is anything turned off in there?

Some more information would help. Did the mouse ever work? When was the last time it stopped working?

make sure when u try the ps2 that the mouse is plugged in BEFORE the boot. Then if its still freezing see if u can use your keyboard!
