move os to new hard drive?

I just got my new hard drive installed and now I have 2. They are both pretty much the same, except the new one has a 16MB cache, while the old one has 8MB. I am moving all my games and things of that sort to it in hopes that they will perform better, but I'm wondering if it will make a difference that would be worth reinstalling my OS onto it? Also will it make the games faster, since they have to run through windows which is on the slower drive? Thanks

I dont believe it would make a noticable difference, please someone correct me if im wrong. But i think it would be pretty much the same, i wouldnt even worry about putting your games on the new harddrive.

You will see no performace increase in games. All that a harddrive will improve is the load time of things. If you want games to go faster, you need to upgrade things such as your RAM, CPU, or mostly, your GPU.

thanks guys. My games actually run pretty good, I just figured since I have this new hard drive I would see if they would run better on it. WEll thanks again anyways
