Movie downloads wanted.

Why would that be slightly illegal if I want to purchase the rights to own the movie? I don't want to do anything illegal, just add to my movie collection at the best possible prices. I just got a new DVD burner and thought this would be a good way to put it to some use. Can movies be purchased on the net and burnt to DVD? I searched the net and found all kinds of sites but I'm looking for one that is (1) leagal, (2) used by someone that will recomend it.

the only problem here is that any movie that you buy from the internet are going to be protected so that you cant burn it onto a dvd, and getting around this protection is illegal, so there is no "legal" way to do it, cant you just buy the dvd? Because most films that you buy on the internet are more expensive than buying the actual disc.

When you by any software game, DVD, music, etc... you arn't buying the rights to the software you are buying the right to use, not to do any thing you want with the it.
