Movie is slow from iTunes

Can someone please help. When I download a movie on itunes the speed of watching the movie is quite slow and there is always little interuptions and pauses. This happens almost every 2 seconds the clip pauses for about half a second and then continues.

Is this because of my video card or my processor? I don´t think I have a fantastic computer but it´s more of a basic one. Here is a link to the specifications of my computer ( http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/prodinfoCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&lang=en&product=3355074 )

I have windows vista home premium with a AMD Sempron processor 3400+ 1.80Ghz.

At the very least, you need a graphics card.
I can't find documentation on what integrated graphics that board has, but it's obviously not much.

Most any low end card will help you.

Maybe, but do you have an actual card or still running on the embedded video?

Thats an integrated card on the mobo=Crappy.

The 6150LE is an integrated graphics chipset.

So does that mean I have to buy a graphics card additional to the Nvidia one I have? Will this then speed up the movies?

Just out of interest when I watch a programme on BBC iPlayer the speed is fine but when I download a movie or programme on iTunes it is slow. Does it make a difference if the programme is streamed or not?

Do you have a card? Or just the embedded 6150 LE?

Yes, it makes a difference if it's streaming. Streaming video will stutter and pause if you have slower internet speed.

I think it must be embedded as when I look in the control panel under hardware the words Graphic Card cannot be found. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I will go to the store tomorrow to ask for a Graphics card but is there something in particular I should look for? Like the number of Ghz the card plays at etc?

Make sure the card you get is PCI-Express x16

Also, are the videos from iTunes Streamed? How fast is your internet?

It could just be a slow stream because of slow internet as stated before.
