movie player in slow motion?

how do I speed up my video play on mpc? (media player classic)? When I d/l a video its in slow motion.

Do you get any sound / does it play the sound in slow motion as well? Maybe you just don't have enough bandwidth, so it plays slow, though I think this is unlikely, it should stop to buffer and then play normally... now I'm being Captain Obvious here, but I would look around for an option for the playback speed ans see if that's off.
