moving all parts to new case?

how hard is it to move all parts to a new case?
Would i need to do anything or just move it all and that's all?

provided the parts fit, then you just have to move then over yea, nothing more, nothing less :)

When I say the parts fit, if it is a mid ATX or full ATX case, any ATX or mATX board will fit in there fine, and any ATX PSU will fit in too

If it is mATX, only mATX motherboards will fit in, only certain coolers will fit in if you have an aftermarket one, and some cases won't fit standard ATX power supplies in. You also have the potential problem if it is mATX of your video card being too wide or too long to fit in if you have one

It's pretty straightfoward, especially if you've built a computer before. If not, it's good experience. I'd take the opportunity to breakdown the CPU cooler, reapply thermal paste and clean the lint out from between the fan and the fins.

yeh i built the comp myself and moving from mid tower to full tower for better cable management so it will fit. so nothing else to worry about then thats good.

I just got through switching cases and took the opportunity to concentrate on improving cable management. Ordered some extension cables from Newegg to get more of the wiring behind the MB this time.

Here's mine before and after.
