I had my bookmarks saved on mozilla on my hardrive, which is now being used as a backup its my secondary drive.

I formatted and installed MCE on my current hdd. and want to import my bookmarks from my second hdd.

How do i go about doing so?

Thanks

You saved the bookmarks from the application data folder right?

If so, just copy the contents of the profile that was backed up, to the folder of the current profile for mozilla now.

i dont know =/

i think i saved it thru the organize bookmark thing...where is it?
thanks

Your bookmarks should be available on the old hard drive.
Look in your Old Drive:\Documents & Settings\username\application Data\Mozilla folder for a file called bookmarks.html. Copy that to your desktop. Open Mozilla, Organize Bookmarks, select Import, and browse to that file to import all your old bookmarks.

If you cannot find the folder that I mentioned, It may be becuse it is hidden. Open a "my computer" window, and under Tools--Folder Options--View...check the button that says "show hidden files and folders".
That should do the trick.

Then look under E:\Documents and Settings\demo\application data\mozilla
and keep browsing through that folder and its subfolders until you find a file called "bookmarks.html", and use that to import into Mozilla.

i couldnt find application data.
but i clicked something, like i saved the files with the bookmarks, and opened it and it showed like get add-ons so i got de.li.ous or something.

Thanks

Application Data is a hidden folder. Go to the Documents and Settings folder, click on your name, then either enable hidden files and folders, or type in "/Application Data" in the address bar.
