Hey, i currently have internet explorer but it is taking ages to go on different sites.
I have looked through some forums and they have said that Mozilla Firefox is dead fast and stuff?

but can you go back to internet explorer after you have downloaded firefox and do all you have to do is download and click it and vwala?

or do you have to like do pure stuff to make the internet work on that programme?

Thanks

Mozilla firefox is great, There's all kinds of addons and themes. Much better then that nasty IE. Why don't you try it for yourself? All you have to do is download it, install it and open the program up. It's that simple.

of course you can

fasterfox is a plugin that lets firefox access webpages with multiple connections, and download multiple files/pictures/etc. all at once, so pages load MUCH faster

downthemall is a download accelerator plugin

and splitlink splits fake links by automatically parsing them several times, and automatically redirecting all the links on the page to the true destination site

think of webpages where you might have to click a link several times before it goes to the site you actually wanted to go to (warez/pornz) no longer an issue

so where can you download all of that?

woa can you say that in english please can you explain all of that?

and can you delete firefox and go back to IE if you dont like it?

Basically, you can have both internet browsers at the same time. They can both be installed, and you can use either of them any time. What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

once you install firefox, just go to tools>add-ons> and click "get extensions now!"

there's 1,000's of free plugins for firefox

there's add on encyclopedias, where you can just right-click any word on a page, and click "look it up" and it will open a new tab with a dictionary or encylopedia in it, and even ones where you can highlight an address, and it will automatically give you directions from your house!

tons of good stuff.

Oh yes, I forgot about the way you just mentioned, I'm so used to just going to their site.

You can use Inernet Explorer within Firefox too. Just install the "IETab" extension/AddOn and it adds an IE button that will open in a new Firefox tab. I use it all the time, and it saves time and space on your toolbar.

so are like all of you in this forum using mozilla, i guess im the odd one out,

I'm sure there are some IE7 junkies out there, plus Opera, Netscape, and Safari from Apple.

lol its taking ages to download because of IE , will that change in mozilla?

Not necessarily, The browser doesn't slow down or help the download speed, it all depends on the server, and the speed of your internet.

waaaaay:D im on mozilla now and it is faster than IE , even simple websites like this one is running faster. The only problem is i have to download flash player again:( but its all good

ive downloaded flash player but its not working on the website im using it says get flash player still

any help?

Which site is it?

You may need to close and re-open Firefox. If nothing else works, use IETab. That is why I'm always praising it, a good last resort tool :)
