This latest release brings a host of new features, tweaks, bug fixes, and miscellaneous enhancements over the previous 1.5.0.10 version. Among those enhancements are a new visual theme, better integration with Windows Vista, improved add-on support, message tagging, a customizable folder pane, integration with Google's Gmail, and more. As always, users upgrading from a previous version are urged to first back up their profile directory, which is usually located in the "C:\Documents and Settings" directory under Windows XP and in the "C:\Users" directory under Windows Vista (see this page for more information.)
