Enough to deal with macs "Safari" becoming windows compatible?

Firefox v3.0 alpha, using it now, seems to load faster than 2.0, maybe
enough to put it in line with safari, about to download safari to check it out in a
head 2 head comparison.

well i like it so far, the change in icon is surprising, but nothing big.

all in all worth checking it out.

be careful though, many extensions may not work with it yet, though i can say "adblock+" works with it.

I Don't k now hwo recent this is, so if its old news, please don't flame.

So far in all tests

(Armorgames, Apple startpage, javascript page and computer forum)

In every test Mozilla 3.0 has out distanced Safari by about twice the speed, i realise I'm not a offical tester or anything but it seems FireFox 3.0 has outdone safari.

Just my $0.02

It's been around for a while. I installed it on my virtual vista machine back when I started it. Nothing too different that I could see right off.

About to install, i tried out safari and wasnt too impressed, alot of features you expect to be there just aren't. It was a smidge faster in page loading than FF2 though, lets see how FF3 and safari compare

dragon

*EDIT* - ok, it hangs every time you open it, thats a good start...

Works fine here... Let's see if it's any better.
About safari... It lacks some of the key simple features I hope they can fix it cause it looks good.
Some are not really bugs but here's what I don't like about it.
-It doesn't highlight all of the address when you click on the address bar.
-There's no home page button.
-There's no pop-up box that describes each button when you hover mouse on it.
-There's no status bar telling you what's happening, Just a progress bar in the address bar.
-It doesn't minimize itself when I click on it in the Taskbar sometimes it restores itself.

man, I tried that out a loooooong time ago. Nothing too great, that is unless they've updated it in the past few months.

Seems to me that it goes quite a bit faster than FF2. Also, just started testing it out, but is it quite a bit less of a resource hog?
