mp3 converter

go to download.com and get cdexbeta, works great, used it for a few years... Although it only goes between mp3 and WMA... What are you trying to convert from?
 
cuesoft has a great mpeg4 converter called something like Cuesoft AVI to VCD DVD converter, ive been using that for a long time its great to change avis to a format that can be put on dvds if thats what your friend is looking for.
