I am seriously to old and to confused for my new mp4 player. I have NO idea what I am doing wrong I need preschool instructions and kind help! I copied and pasted music file then when I go to play it simply says 'Play error' can anyone help please?

What format are you putting on the player, for example mp3, wav?

look seriously.... I have no idea how to even answer your question! How can I tell? I did say I needed preschool type help! I am just copying the music files from windows media, does that give you any clues????

It will either say something like nameoffile.mp3 or nameoffile.flac.

If it does not right click on the file and choose properties and then around a third of the way down in the box that pops it should say Tpye Of File and should say something like mp3 file, wav file.

Have you tried using windows explorer and putting any music in the music folder?

Please be aware that when you ask to put music on the device it is not instant depending on size/how many files it can take a while.
