mpg file problem - PLEASE READ

Alright, so I cant watch any movies/videos on my computer if there in mpg format. But if its wmv, than theres no problem.

Now I know what I did to make mpg vids not work. I went to click on one and it said "Run this on the internet" (or something simular) and I said no. But in the box, the checkmark must have been filled in so it would never ask me again on how I want to run an mpg file.

So whenever I go to view a movie in mpg, it either does nothing or goes to "This Page Cannot Be Displayed"

Anyway, I went to view another vid (must have been a wmv) and it asked me the same thing so I pushed yes with the checkmark in the box, so the wmv files work.

My question is, how can I view mpg files without saving them? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey! Welcome to the forums!

I assume that you are talking about videos that you are trying to watch on the internet. If that is the case, then you should be able to go to the internet options window and clear out any of the saved forms or saved settings. In Firefox, it should be under Tools->Options->Privacy, in their are a bunch of tabs, and just go in there and clear out all the cookies, cache, everything...
