hello im a new guy here i just want to know if a guy who knpws little about computers is fit to join this group, i want 2 gain knowledge so that i can already add to what i know
i'm 17 yrs old and a 1st yr comp eng student at this indian college- nirma institute of technology. u may have heard of it.
any of u guys outthere interested in computer modding? i am but i cant afford and im not 18 so my dad wont allow
 
Yeah man, youre just fine here. If you don't know a lot right now, you will soon enough. Just read all the threads and I'm sure you'll learn A LOT. I know I sure have, and I know most people here have as well.

If you're into modding check out the Computer Cases, Power Supplies, and Cooling forum. There's a bunch of cool stuff to check out there. Somebody tried putting their computer parts into oil for cooling purposes and was able to run the computer submerged in oil.... without a case.... check it out man, there's some cool stuff here.
 
Welcome, if you want to know something you can use the search function; while you may find a lot of threads with a title like 'Post the colour of your rear fan' some of the threads are full of really useful information. Especially about prices and specifications.

No I think he said that his dad won't let him make money or borrow money from him since he's not 18.
