MS Office Professional - 2003 vs 2007

MS Office Professional: 2003 vs 2007?:

I’m about to order a new desktop computer and already own a registered copy of MS Office 2003 Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher).

So I’m reluctant to pay $400 (or so) for the 2007 version of Office Pro … unless there are significant differences to make it worthwhile. What’s the consensus of opinion out there, please?

The main difference is Office 2007 is more user friendly and because of this it shows you options you may have never seen before in any other version of office.

When you say registered does it mean you have already activated Office on another computer? If so, depending on the license agreement you may not be able to install it on another computer.

If this is not the case then I would use Office 2003 and wait for another version of Office to come out before you spend $400.00 on the version of 2007.

it really depends whether you want to learn how to use a completely new office package. There is a huge difference between older versions/2003 and 2007.

if you area a student you can also get a cheaper version of office 2007
e.g.

if not you have to pay full price sadly.
