MS Outlook - can I export account settings?

I use Outlook 2007 with several email accounts set up.
Can I export those settings so that when I reinstall Outlook I don't have to set up each email account individually?
In the past I have tried saving my entire profile outlook.pst file, but that just kept all my emails and contacts - and not my account settings.

I can export rules. And I am hoping that I can do something similar with accounts.

It would seem that there is no option available (at least that I can find) to export or copy your account settings in Outlook 2007. You would be better off to do it manually.

I don't use Outlook Express. Im sure there are many. Im using thunderbird. I suggest you query something like freeware outlook express backup.
you will come across many. some free will work well. others you can pay for.
query google. 'freeware outlook express backup'.

cheers

the pay ver will backup many types including browsers. I use mozbackup that imports from outlook express. thats all i got. its free and works well.yu can query from mozilla.com

"I don't use Outlook Express"

Neither does the poster. Outlook and Outlook Express are two completely different programs.

yeah, I haven't found any way to do it either. Apparently there are third-party programs that will do it for you, but it's not worth it. I'll just spend the 5 minutes it takes to set up my three or four accounts whenever I reinstall outlook.

I seems that Outlook 2000 had the option to export account settings, but it was later taken out.

thanks for the responses.
