mshtml.dll

when I go online and look up something I get this msg which says something about having to shut down due to a microsoft problem. When I review the details it tells me I have the viewer running in the background. I see nothing in this regards...but it tells me the program is MSHTML.DLL.

If I do a search it shows it as a Windows system 32 related...

How do I get rid of this so I can get back to normal???? I do not want to delete something which is going to screw up the system.... TKS in advance.. FW

You are probably seeing a missing driver message. The system32 folder is where that is installed to by Windows itself. It's not a matter of deleting but replacing a missing or damaged file.
