MSI HD4890 dumb problem...

Maybe try uninstalling the ATI drivers and reinstall the new ones. Could be the temp. sensor went out or the PWM part of the fan and causing the fan speed to go wild.

I reinstalled the drivers tons of times... About the temp sensor, thats what o thought too. But what can i do to make the temp sensor go back to normal?

tho he said he shook it, and the heatsink is heavy...i wonder if the card unseated or the heatsink shifted, tho i would be very hard pressed to believe the heatsink on the graphics card came loose.
