I have an MSI K7N2 Delta mobo (nVidia nForce2). There are 3 DIMM slots: two purple and one green. Now I have two 256MB DImm, one in the green slot, and the other in one of the purple slots, so the memory runs in dual channel.
I want to buy an 512 MB DIMM so I would have 1GB RAM. But I don't know if the memory would run in dual channel if I would put the 512MB DIMM in the green slot and the two 256MB DIMMs in the purple slots. The mobo's manual doesn't describe if it would or wouldn't work.
Please help me!
