MSI Motherboard

Yes it will be compatible but you need to make sure that you have decent enough power supply to push that video card. Whats the make and model of the power supply?

Cooler master Silent pro M 700W is it good enough ? and is there anything else I need to consider like processor or something else ?

Yes, its good enough. Any good 500 watt unit will run that card. What processor do you have? If its not a good processor, it will bottleneck the video card.

Intel core i5-2500k 3.30ghz , I do want to get better processor and probably new motherboard and ram but wanted to start off with buying a new graphic card

The i5 2500k is good, I agree, but for a comfortable ride on the card I'd move up to 3.5ghz or 4.0. Of course the difference is little, but if you have the pocket depth of $600 extra and want to futureproof, get to an Intel i7 Hexcore. Currently I do not believe any games stretch past the need of 4 cores, save for rumors of Battlefield 4 and Planetside 2, BUT we all know that they will sooner than later, developers will more commonly code for 4-6 cores rather than 2-4.

Hope I helped!

That's not really worth the investment for just gaming.

You certainly will not need to upgrade your CPU for a decade, at least! But I do agree, in the short term sense, there is no need to overdo it if you don't see yourself gaming for over a long term period. e.g. Redefining the needs of your computer, dropping gaming as a whole.

Calm down, your posting on dead old threads.

A CPU needs to be upgraded maybe every 4 years to keep up with newer games
