MSI P35 Neo-F P35 Chipset vs MSI P6N SLI-F nForce 650i SLI Chipset

i have the p35 neo....its a great motherboard has the p35 chipset (obviusly) supports a quad core processor which is why i chose it so i can go quad later, supports 45nm, .DDR2/DDR3 compatible

the onboard high definition sound is amazing if you have decent speakers.

although the p35 neo lacks support for SLI but i didnt want to sli anyway so i dont know if you planned on sli?

yes just means you have 2x Pci-e slots on your board.
i have no use for them either thats why i chose the p35 neo.

You could also go with the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L or the ABIT IP35-E for around the same price. ;)

*edit* The GA-P35-DS3L has solid capacitors so it will last you ages.

What CPU do you plan on getting? I would get the Gigabyte P35-DS3L

I wouldn't recommend 650i, it does support SLI (two Nvidia based graphic cards). but it doesn't support full x16/x16 speeds in SLI mode.

now if I get a lil more feedback on my computer build (desktop forum) I'd go ahead and order everything and start gettn to work :D
