hi dudes i have a question for you. What function does the second yellow PCI x16 slot have on the P35?? Can i insert graphic card there instead of the other PCI slot? I have problem(the screen is standbye when i turn the PC on) and i suppose so and i hope so, the PCI slot is not working... I turned my PC off yesterday and today when i wanted to turn it on it didn't give me the bios screen(the start screen), there isn't a picture and the monitor is stand bye... There is no beep sound when i turn the PC on. I am desperate. Is it possible my motherboard's dead or maybe the processor? What can cause my motherboard to break down? Can a bad graphic do that?

Which is also known as MS-7345 - - MSI P35 Platinum latest Intel mainstream chipset, P35 is based on. Intel P35 Intel P965 chipset is successful, is being targeted to mainstream motherboards.

if it did beep and it doesnt now I would be looking more at a mobo Problem, Another problem could be is your PSU failing., Have you checked to see if one or both of your ram sticks are bad, if one fails you computer will do nothing but run the fans. Nothing against you at all, But is it dusty inside. My mothers computer was HORRIBLE. The dust was probably 2in thick the first time I cleaned it. I imagine that it is clean (Most people with computers know to keep them dust free, or try to) but I am trying to eliminate the possibilities. Process of elimination :)

I have on Idea what the Yellow port is for but If it fits I dont think it would hurt to try. I am guessing you dont have any onboard video :(

The likelyhood of your processor failing is slim to none unless you have overclocked it. Usually they go out with it sounding like a jet, a hissing sound and then smoke and silence. That is when it is time to remove your heatsink to find out your processor has now become 2. Had that happen before.
