msi p6n sli platinum Audio problem

my custom build desktop has the msi p6n sli platinum motherboard and it has onboard realtek hd audio and the sound is very muffled in windows 10 the front audio port works fine, just the rear audio port. I have tried almost everything i can find on the net but nothing helped.

Does anybody have the same problem like me?

How can i fix it.

If the front works fine then we can only assume that there is something up with the back port. I would either rma the board or buy a dedicated sound card.

could you recommend a sound card that will work with my board? i cant rma it since its been years since i got it.

i dont mind an used one, it just have to be cheap.

Any one really. Not sure which type interface you want either pci or pci-e. Maybe Asus Xonar for around $30?
