Does it detect any other usb devices?

Try the flash drives in another computer to see if you get the same results. If so, then the flash drives are bad. If they work fine in a different system then its a usb issue. Try uninstalling all usb entries in device manager, reboot and let windows reinstall the drivers and try it again.

If it detects them, It can't be anything wrong with the hardware.... Missing or corrupt drivers?

Do the drives work ok in a different computer? If so, the only other recommendation I can make is a fresh install of windows to test to see if the usb ports are bad.
