msn (going back)

For age's I said I wasn't going to upgrade my messenger and go to windows live. Somehow I felt like the changed and download windows live last night

As I thought I didn't like that and went to go back to msn 7.5 .. I download 7.5 and went to install and I got an Error saying *Error code 1635 and telling me to download the latest version of msn*

or try redownloading the installer

Ive tried it with Live iin and out And Ive tried several downloads of 7.5 from diffrent sources

msn wants u to always use the latest version, idk why but they do......i remember i had an older version and it wouldn't let me log in until i downloaded the newest version once.......

i'd just stay with live and get used it it

Well if live doesn't work for you, try Trillian. It's a good alternative if you're having problems.

yeh trillian is brilliant, you can sign on all your chat accounts at once, i used msn and trillian with an msn account on each, the fun you can have teasing your mates pretending to be a girl with a fake account. Love it!
