MSN Messenger 8 doesn't save PMs

anybody have the same issue ?
I write a personal message and when i restart the application is disappears.

no i never had to do anything in previous versions of Msn messenger

Actually, you did, on the first one you had installed, when you closed your first convo window, it asks you if you want to save your convos from there on... just go into options and turn it on somewhere.

not your conversation.... i would have known that

With regards to saving conversations, I have it enabled.

Anyways, long story cut short, I allowed a friend of mine to use my computer whilst I was in the gym, I came back and me being the nosey guy that I am read his conversation.

Needless to say I was in shock when I saw he had been having 'cybersex' with someone. I still haven't approached him about it to this very day.
