msn messenger problem pleasee help!!!

For some reason my msn is using something like over 50%of the cpu when it should only use 2 or 3 is there any 1 that can help me. (its a laptop celeron 2.8ghz)

Have you installed anything thing for it? Like winks, or those mood things?

And are you using the Mood Display pictures, the ones where you can change the expression on them?
 
When i use the speach pack for msn + my usage sometimes goes upto 100%. Also i have found nudges use alot of cpu usage.
 
I have had this problem, but due to people using loads of animated emoticons and winks, so sorry i cant think of the problem. Maybe it is due to the speed of your computer,. and the issue just happened to show on msn
 
50% of a celeron is like what... 1% of mine? lol jk...
but yea, try rebooting and reinstalling msn messenger... if not then disable some features of the prog. thats what i would do. :)

Reinstall the client, Build 7.5.0306 is the latest I believe.
