Multi-Monitor Output Different Things

I've been commissioned to create a program for a company that displays their information.
They want an 8-monitor setup, with all of the monitors showing a different version of their information program. I don't really know how to go about this.

I found this (http://www.multi-monitors.com/) but I'm not sure if that's the right solution.

And money is not a thing to care about when you respond; the company is willing to pay as much as needed for the hardware.

Thanks (:

So you just need the hardware to accomplish this? For that you'll need a Tri-fired AMD HD setup, since each card is capable of running 3 monitors. Depending on whether their program is at all graphically intense, you could do this with anything from 100 dollar 5770's or 6770's, to 600 dollar 7970's, to 6990's that i don't remember the price of, but they're more.

Do you need a full computer and the monitors for this?

Well, they have these mockup drawings of how they want the presentations to look. Granted I bet I could use a DVD player with each monitor because all the mockups are slightly different. But I think a computer would be the best option.

Also, I'm just a bit confused as to how to accomplish outputting different things on different monitors. I think the easiest way to accomplish what they want would be a powerpoint, but it's not possible to have more than one full-screen powerpoint on separate monitors on the same computer, right? That's my biggest dilemma, how to get full screen presentation applications on each monitor.

I am not sure how it would work with 8 monitors, but I know you can do what you want with 2 monitors. I do this all the time, having Canvas/Quia/word/Chrome open in full screen on the laptop and Netflix/hulu/a DVD in full screen on the external VGA monitor. It is setup through Nvidia control panel to do this, CCC can do it too.

And Johnny, I think you only need 2 HD 6990's to do this, but I am unsure. I do know that with the 6990 it is the same as a 590, it can only do dual (6990/6990). You can go triple, but it will have to be 6990/6970/6970. Though I doubt this would offer much advantage over the 6990/6990.

Not to be harsh, but it doesn't sound like the company should be going with you to accomplish this.

http://www.multi-monitors.com/ the website has pre-configured computers for this purpose.

Not to be self-degrading, but I agree with you. But hey, it's a learning experience and there is no deadline to worry about.
By the way I'm not completely ignorant when it comes to computers. It's just this very specific request that I don't know how to handle. I program in many languages and have built three of my own computers in the past. I don't want you guys to think that I'm a complete idiot, just partially ;)

Then, it's probably your best source for a computer for this purpose.

But, if the company has a computer you are thinking about adapting/upgrading for this, can you post some details about it? How many expansion slots? What type slots?

Oh, no. I was planning on buying one of the computers from that website. I don't want to bother trying to set something up that doesn't work correctly in the end.
