I know it is possible to have two monitors connected to one PC, and I have seen my friends computer which is set up so he can play video games on one monitor, mouse over past the edge of the screen and the mouse appears in the other monitor, and then he can react with other applications on that monitor.
My question is, can you connect one monitor to a laptop and have the original screen working at the same time as the new one, like stated above (e.g. having the new monitor playing a game and the laptop's main screen running MSN or Firefox)? If so, would it also be possible for the extra screen to be something other than a computer monitor, an LCD TV for example?
I just want to know if this is actually possible, or just my imagination going crazy after seeing my friends' sweet set up.
Thanks
