Multi-OS file access

So I have a 1.5TB HDD with Windows 7 on it and a 250GB SSD with Windows 8 on it, and I need to know how I can allow access of files from the Windows 7 user to the Windows 8 user. I can boot both so it's not a problem of one being unavailable but when I try to access my Windows 7 account's Music Library etc. on my Windows 8 account it says I don't have permission to access the files.

You need to take ownership of files. Right click on the folder and click on properties, then click on security tab then take ownership.
